چکیده
Background: The radiation resistance process is a major problem in radiotherapy. Proteomics useful method to determine the molecular mechanism of biological and medical events. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) network suitable for proteomics data interpretation. Objectives: Assessment about human cell lines via PPI analysis aim this study. Methods: Proteomic were extracted from literature differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) included STRING database by Cytoscape software. was analyzed central nodes introduced. assessed action map gene ontology enrichment. Results: Among 251 queried DEPs, 171 individuals network. EGFR, FN1, CD44, PTGS2, NFKBIA, KEAP1, CTSD, PHGDH, NT5E introduced as critical DEPs. Eight groups terms attributed PTGS2 discriminated among DEPs key dysregulated proteins. Conclusions: results indicate that are four essential involved radioresistant cells.

Molecular mechanisms of radiation resistance in doxorubicin-resistant breast adenocarcinoma cells.
A positive response to breast cancer treatment is largely dependent on the successful combination of anticancer treatment modalities, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Unfortunately, chemotherapy resistance occurs frequently. Furthermore, drug‑resistant tumors can become unresponsive to other antitumor therapies, and they often fail to respond to radiation therapy. The molecular struc...

Neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy (CRT) is increasingly the standard of care for locally advanced oesophageal cancer. A complete pathological response to CRT is associated with a favourable outcome. Radiation therapy is important for local tumour control, however, radioresistance remains a substantial clinical problem. We hypothesise that alterations in mitochondrial function and energy metabo...
متن کاملDiscovery of New Molecular Subtypes in Oesophageal Adenocarcinoma
A large number of patients suffering from oesophageal adenocarcinomas do not respond to conventional chemotherapy; therefore, it is necessary to identify new predictive biomarkers and patient signatures to improve patient outcomes and therapy selections. We analysed 87 formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) oesophageal adenocarcinoma tissue samples with a reverse phase protein array (RPPA)...

Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) is a multidisciplinary approach in which residual tumors or tumor beds are directly irradiated during a surgical procedure. To evaluate its efficacy, from 1985, we conducted a prospective study including non-metastatic gastric adenocarcinoma treated by surgery, IORT (15 Grays) and postoperative external beam radiotherapy (44 Grays). Up to 1993, 51 ca...
